The Honda XRE 190 is one of the most popular dual-sport motorcycles in Brazil, favored for its agility, lightness and powerful performance.
After launching updated versions of its Sahara, Tornado and Bros adventure motorcycles, Honda has introduced the 2025 Honda XRE 190 in Brazil. Originally launched in 2016, the motorcycle has produced more than 180,000 units. The 2025 Honda XRE 190 will be available in dealerships in Brazil starting in October.
2025 Honda XRE 190 – What’s New?
Improvements to the 2025 Honda XRE 190 focus on improving safety, practicality, and overall user satisfaction. These updates are based on Honda’s evolving design strategy and the feedback and suggestions received from users. The fairing has also been updated, similar to the ones we’ve seen on the new Sahara 300, XR 300L Tornado, and NXR 160 Bros.

The fuel tank, side profile, seat and tail section have also changed. The stepped seat is now larger in size with a more defined rider and pillion section. The grab rails merge backwards to form a flat surface that can be used to mount a top case. The motorcycle features a new exhaust and the pillion has aluminium footrests.
There are two variants – Standard and Adventure. The base model is available in Pearlescent Red and Matte Metallic Blue. The Adventure model comes in Pearlescent Grey and comes with exclusive graphics. The 2025 Honda XRE 190 is equipped with full LED lighting for a sportier look and better lighting.

The digital instrument panel has been updated with a high-contrast screen. It displays a range of information such as the odometer, fuel level, available range, and average fuel efficiency. Another important update is the USB Type C charging port located near the dashboard.
Improved suspension
While most of the hardware specs remain the same as before, the front fork now uses wider 33mm tubes instead of the outgoing model’s 31mm tubes. The rear suspension is unchanged. Front suspension travel is 180mm, while the rear swingarm-linked spring-shock absorber travel is 150mm.

The motorcycle continues to use a 19-inch spoked steel wheel at the front and a 17-inch spoked steel wheel at the rear. These wheels are equipped with Pirelli MT60 tires. The braking setup remains the same with a 240 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc. Single-channel ABS is standard. The dry weight of the 2025 Honda XRE 190 is 126 kg. The seat height remains the same at 836 mm.
The 2025 Honda XRE 190 will continue to use the same engine as before. The 184.4 air-cooled flexible single-cylinder engine outputs 16 horsepower and 16.28 Nm of torque when running on gasoline. When running on ethanol, the output is 15.9 horsepower and 16.18 Nm. The engine is matched with a 5-speed gearbox.

The 2025 Honda XRE 190 starts at R$22,060, which is approximately Rs 3.37 lakh for the base model. The Adventure variant is priced at R$22,496 (Rs 3.40 lakh). These prices do not include freight and insurance. For complete peace of mind, Honda offers a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty.
