2025 Suzuki Gixxer, Gixxer SF launched in India, price

Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated its product lineup for 2025 with new models such as V-Strom SX, Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250. The motorcycles now comply with OBD-2B emission standards and are available in new color variants. Prices for the Gixxer 250 model start at Rs 1.98 lakh, while the Gixxer SF 250 starts at Rs 2.07 lakh. Both prices above are ex-showroom. Customers can choose from three new paints: two-tone Triton Blue Metallic/Glacier White Pearl, Metallic Matt Black No. 2, and a mix of Metallic Matt Black No. 2 and Metallic Matt Bordeaux Red. Additionally, the engine has been upgraded to meet OBD-2B compliance.

2025 Suzuki Gixxer 250: Engine, Design, Hardware

Priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.98 lakh, the updated 250 is now available for bookings and deliveries are expected to begin soon. Apart from this revision, it remains the same as the previous model. The 2025 Gixxer 250 maintains a familiar design, including a flat LED headlight, armrest, sturdy fuel tank, LED taillight, split seat, and extended fuel tank extension. As mentioned, it is available in three colors: Pearl Glacier White, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red.

The bike is powered by an OB2-compliant 249cc single-cylinder unit. The engine produces maximum power of 26.5bhp at 9,500rpm and peak torque of 22.2Nm at 7,500rpm, and is coupled to a six-speed gearbox. In terms of hardware, the Gixxer 250 is equipped with a preload-adjustable monoshock and a 41mm traditional telescopic front fork. It is equipped with disc brakes at both ends (rear 220mm, front 300mm), and dual-channel ABS is standard.

In terms of features, the model comes with a Bluetooth-enabled digital console with features such as route navigation, missed call reminders, speed warnings and ETA updates. There is also an optional 12V charging connector.

2025 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250: Key Specs

The 2025 iteration of the Gixxer SF 250 is priced at Rs 2.07 lakh (price starting, ex-showroom). This results in a price increase of Rs 2,000 compared to the previous Ride Connect version. The new Gixxer SF 250 is available in three different colours: metallic matt black 2, metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White and a combination of metallic matt black 2 and metallic matt Bordeaux red.

Bookings for the SF 250 have also started. The model is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that produces 22.2Nm of torque at 7,300rpm and 26bhp at 9,300rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. It also features Suzuki’s proprietary oil cooling system, designed for high performance, long-term durability and low maintenance. The Gixxer SF 250 weighs 161 kg and is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. It has dual-channel ABS and disc brakes at both ends to provide effective stopping power.

The motorcycle’s design borrows from previous GSX models, especially the headlight cluster, while the stylish fairing bears similarities to its smaller-displacement sibling. The Gixxer SF 250 sports a split seat, clip-on handlebars, full LED lighting, dual-pipe exhaust, single-sided muffler and a fully digital LCD instrument panel. The Gixxer SF 250 rides on twin five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 110/70 tubeless tires at the front and 150/60 tires at the rear and has a ground clearance of 165 mm.
