MG Comet EV – Rs 6.99 lakh
The MG Comet EV is the most affordable and smallest electric car on sale in the country. The price range of the models ranges from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 9.53 lakh. Recently, the automaker launched BaaS (Battery as a Service) Plan 2.5 per kilometer, bringing the base price down to Rs 4.99 lakh. The small electric car is equipped with a 17.3kWh battery pack and a rear-wheel drive (RWD) electric motor that produces 42PS of power and 110Nm of torque. The Comet EV is said to have a range of up to 230 kilometers.
Tata Tiago Electric Car – Rs 7.99 Lakh
The Tata Tiago EV is one of the most affordable electric cars in India. The electric hatchback is currently available in four variants – XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux – priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh. It comes with two battery packs – 19.2kWh and 24kWh – with a range of 250km and 315km respectively. Similar to Tata’s other electric vehicles, the Tiago EV uses the brand’s Ziptron high-voltage architecture, which includes a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. The electric motor is paired with larger and smaller batteries, producing 74bhp, 114Nm and 61bhp, 110Nm respectively.
Tata Punch EV – Rs 9.99 lakh
Launched earlier this yearThe current price range of Tata Punch EV is Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.29 lakh. This electric micro-SUV is available with a 25kWh or 35kWh battery. The former has a MIDC range of 315 kilometers, while the latter has a MIDC range of 421 kilometers. There are three charging options – 3.3kW wall charger, 7.2kW fast charger and DC fast charger. The Punch EV Long Range variant produces 122bhp and 190Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 9.5 seconds.
Tata Tiger electric car – Rs 12.49 Lakh
Launched in 2022, the updated Tata Tigor EV uses Ziptron high-voltage architecture and is equipped with a 26kWh lithium-ion battery pack and electric motor. The company offers an 8-year/1,60,000-km warranty on its battery and motor. It accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and can be charged from 0 to 80% in 60 minutes. Some of its key features include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and leatherette upholstery. Currently, the electric sedan is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 13.75 lakh.
Tata Nexon EV – Rs 12.49 lakh
The price of Tata Nexon EV starts from Rs 12.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.90 lakh. The model range is available in three trims (Creative, Fearless, Empowered) and multiple variants, all equipped with 40.5kWh batteries and electric motors. Recently, the company launched Larger 45kWh battery pack versions, priced from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh. Additionally, the new Empowered+ Red Dark version with a larger battery is priced at Rs 17.19 lakh. However, the Empowered 45 variant is priced at over Rs 15 lakh. The 40.5kWh battery version has a range of 465 kilometers, while the larger 45kWh battery version has a range of 489 kilometers.
MG Windsor EV – Rs 13.50 lakh
this MG Windsor electric car It is the latest electric product launched by the British carmaker in India. It is also the first product from the joint venture between MG and JSW established earlier this year. All variants of Windsor EV are priced between Rs 13.50 lakh and Rs 15.50 lakh. This electric compact MPV also offers a BaaS (Battery as a Service) plan, under which buyers pay a minimum charge of Rs 3.5 per km. Windsor EV is equipped with a 38kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with a cruising range of 331 kilometers. It has four driving modes – Eco, Eco+, Normal and Sport. Its battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in 55 minutes using a fast charger.
