At the 2024 Monterey Car Week in California, Maserati unveiled the track-only GT2 Stradale. The car was showcased alongside the Maserati track-only MCXtrema and the MC20 Icona, which was recently launched in North America. The Maserati GT2 Stradale, which debuted in July 2023, is essentially a road-going version of the GT2. It features several modifications to reduce weight and increase the power output of the Nettuno V6 engine. The starting price of the new Maserati car is still yet to be announced, but it will undoubtedly sit between the MC20’s $242,995 (roughly Rs. 2.04 crore) starting price and the GT2 track version’s $522,000 (roughly Rs. 4.37 crore) price tag.

Maserati GT2 Stradale: front trim
Visually, the GT2 Stradale’s design is noticeably more understated than its track-only cousin, the GT2. The latter’s aggressive racing-style graphics have been replaced for the Stradale, which also features a revised front bumper designed to enhance cooling and airflow compared to the standard GT2. The Italian luxury carmaker has improved the car’s aerodynamics to the point where it generates 500kg of downforce. It features multiple carbon-fibre components that help reduce weight, and shares the adjustable rear wing with the GT2. The Stradale also features similar side vents near the C-pillar. Maserati has added a racing diffuser to the rear of the vehicle.
Maserati GT2 Stradale: The Mechanical Core
Although the Stradale’s 3.0-liter V6 “Nettuno” engine is the same as the MC20, it now produces a maximum power of approximately 640 horsepower, which is approximately 10 horsepower more than the track-specific GT2. Even more amazing, however, is that the Stradale weighs 60 kg less than the MC20, thanks to some important modifications. The supercar has a top speed of 324 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 2.8 seconds. Power is transmitted to the supercar’s rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. In addition, there are four modes: Corsa, Sport, GT and Wet

Maserati GT2 Stradale: interior
The interior of the GT2 Stradale, like the rest of the vehicle, is designed to be somewhere between the MC20 and the GT2. To reduce glare and focus on driving, the cabin surfaces are dark in color. The interior features a drive mode knob, digital instrument panel, lightweight carbon fiber racing seats (available in two sizes), four-point seatbelts, carbon fiber shift paddles, a drive button, a reverse button, a sports steering wheel, a rectangular infotainment screen, and a volume knob.
To increase the thrill and enable unique driving modes, two performance packs are available. The Corsa Evo mode is based on racing and offers four different levels for you to drive more and more aggressively. Semi-slick Michelin tires, carbon ceramic brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential with custom calibration, and specific ESC, MSP and ABS calibration are all included in the standard Performance Pack. In addition to the above components, the Performance Pack Plus also includes a fire extinguisher and four-point seat belts.
