In terms of power assembly type, Toyota sold 4,532,721 electrified vehicles worldwide in 2024, an annual increase of 23.2 %.
Most of them are automatic charging hybrid vehicles (4,142,412 vehicles), followed by PHEV (153,829 units), BEVS (139,892 units), mild hybridization (94,810 units) and FCEV (units 1,778). Overall, hybrid vehicles accounted for 40.8 % of Toyota’s global sales in 2024, and Bevs was limited to 1.4 %.
