
Bajaj Auto sold 368,000 2W units in November 2024, up 5% from 349,000 units in the previous year. Although domestic sales fell by 7% to 204,000 vehicles, exports increased by 26% year-on-year to 164,000 vehicles. Exports in the commercial sector have also increased compared to domestic sales. Bajaj Auto’s local supply was 37,243 units, down 5%. Overseas shipments were 16,321 units, a year-on-year increase of 10%. Total sales fell slightly by 1% to 53,564 units.
In terms of total sales (2W and CV), Bajaj’s sales in the domestic market were 241,000 units, a decrease of 7% from the previous year. It sent 181,000 vehicles overseas, a 24% increase from November 2023 when it exported 145,000 vehicles. Overall, Bajaj supplied 4.23 lakh units of 2W and CV last month, a year-on-year growth of 5%.
Bajaj Auto November 2024 Sales: Year-to-Date (YTD) Performance
From April 2024 to November 2024, Bajaj recorded growth across multiple segments. Two weeks after the launch, sales in the domestic market were 1.679 million units, an increase of 9%. Exports increased by 11%, with a total of 1.088 million units shipped. Overall, Bajaj sales stood at 2.767 million units, a growth of 9%.

The Chakan-based automaker’s domestic commercial vehicle sales rose 4% to 3.33 lakh units. Export volume reached 125,000 vehicles, an increase of 18%. Sales of commercial vehicles throughout the year were 458,000, a year-on-year increase of 7%.
Taking into account the combined sales of two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, domestic sales totaled 2.012 million units, an increase of 8%. Export volume increased by 11% to 1.212 million vehicles. Bajaj sold a total of 3.225 million units, a year-on-year increase of 9%.
Recent Highlights
Bajaj is gearing up to launch the upgraded version of Chetak on December 20, 2025. Official specifications are yet to be announced, but the redesign aims to enhance the scooter’s utility for daily commuters. One of the major upgrades could include increased storage capacity, a feature currently dominated by rivals like Ather Rizta, Ola S1 and TVS iQube.

The new version is expected to be priced at a considerable premium over the current model, which is priced between Rs 95,998 and Rs 1.29 lakh (both ex-showroom).
