BMW India has launched the new BMW X7 Signature Edition, available only in the xDrive40i petrol variant. This special edition of BMW’s flagship luxury SUV is being manufactured at the BMW Group plant in Chennai and can be booked through the BMW Online Store. Priced starting at Rs 1,33,00,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the X7 Signature Edition boasts unique design elements, luxurious interiors and impressive performance.
BMW X7 Unique design and functionality
The BMW X7 Signature Edition is available in two exclusive BMW Individual paint options – Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey. Inside, the car features BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery in two luxurious shades: Tartufo and Ivory White.
The exterior features an updated, imposing design with a new double kidney grille framed by chrome highlights and Swarovski crystal headlights, creating a unique lighting effect. Other exterior elements include aluminum satin roof rails and 3D taillights with modern inner graphics. The attention to detail and craftsmanship highlights BMW’s dedication to luxury and design.
Luxury and technology-driven interior
The interior of the X7 Signature Edition is equipped with the latest BMW innovations, including the BMW Curved Display, which is seamlessly integrated into the cockpit. The display consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch Control Display, providing all necessary driving information and entertainment options.
Adding to the sense of space and luxury is the Sky Lounge panoramic glass sunroof, which features over 15,000 individual light points that sync with the ambient lighting to create an impressive light show. Rear passengers enjoy further comfort with Alcantara backrest bolsters and Merino leather captain’s seats, enhancing the vehicle’s luxurious feel.

BMW X7 Powerful performance and efficiency
Under the hood, the BMW X7 Signature Edition is equipped with a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder in-line gasoline engine that produces 381 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, providing an exhilarating driving experience. The engine is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission, which ensures smooth and efficient gear changes.
The X7 Signature Edition also features a 48V electric motor that delivers 12 hp and an additional 200 Nm of torque, improving efficiency and dynamics, especially at lower engine speeds. The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system enhances traction and stability in all driving conditions, while systems such as Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Hill Descent Control and Adaptive 2-axle air suspension ensure comfort and control on all terrains.
