Think this could be the hippest way to attend an F1 race in 2025

Charity auction includes Hispano-Suiza test drive and McLaren Spanish Grand Prix Tour
  • New auction includes F1 Spanish Grand Prix tickets.
  • The winner will also have the opportunity to test drive the Hispano Suiza Carmen.
  • All proceeds benefit the Peterson Automotive Museum Foundation.

The Spanish Grand Prix kicks off on May 29th this year, and we’ve found the coolest way to do it. A new auction offers the winner a complete One Percent package. These include race tickets, accommodation at the castle, the chance to drive the Hispano Suiza Carmen and more. Proceeds even ended up being donated to one of the largest automotive museums in the world.

This “charitable experience” is sold through Bring A Trailer and benefits the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles, California. The winner will go to the Spanish Grand Prix later this year, but that may not be the highlight. First, they will enjoy accommodation in Spain and a private tour of the Hispano Suiza factory.

They will then have the opportunity to drive the Carmen, an all-electric “hypercar” built by Hispano Suiza. It utilizes four electric motors to produce 1,005 horsepower (kW). The winning bidder will decide whether to drive on the roads of Peralada or on the circuit of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. That alone sounds like a great package, but it gets even better.

The winner will enjoy accommodation at Peralada Resort. They will dine at the Cellar 1923 bar and restaurant and have dinner at Castell Peralada, a restaurant located in a real 14th-century castle. If they wish, they can also play a round of golf at the resort during their stay.

Oh, and we should mention that F1 tickets aren’t just in the nose-bleeding section. Instead, the winner and one guest will enjoy a private behind-the-scenes tour of the McLaren paddock. They will be allowed to watch the race in the McLaren garage if they wish, and they will go home with a racing suit worn and signed by Oscar Piastri. Of all the ways to watch an F1 race, this is probably the best one.
