Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated Mavrick 440 at the EICMA 2024 currently being held in Milan, Italy, which includes several significant improvements. The most notable change is the addition of gold USD (upper and lower) forks, which enhance the bike’s appearance and handling. Additionally, a new paint job has been introduced to provide riders with more variety. These updates build on the Mavrick 440’s existing features and are designed to improve overall performance and appeal. With these changes, Hero MotoCorp continues to refine its flagship model, responding to rider feedback while strengthening its position in the highly competitive motorcycle market.

New Hero Mavrick 440: Update
Hero’s flagship Mavrick 440 has received a major redesign to better appeal to Indian riders. One major update is the addition of a gold USD fork, the same fork found on the Harley-Davidson X 440. This upgrade is expected to improve the visual appeal of the bike. The Mavrick 440 also features a new TFT screen borrowed from Harley-Davidson motorcycles but with a different interface to differentiate the two models. Additionally, the bike shown at EICMA comes in a sleek, understated gray color that complements the gold fork, giving it a bold, sophisticated look.

Other technical details of the bike remain the same, retaining a 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine as its power source. The unit is mated to a six-speed transmission and slip-assist clutch. While the Mavrick 440 and Harley-Davidson X 440 share the same powertrain and offer the same power output (27bhp at 6,000rpm), the Mavrick 440 produces 36Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This is 2Nm less than the Harley, which produces 38Nm of torque at the same rpm.
The Mavrick 440 is built on a trellis frame and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with spoked wheels on base models. The bike has a seat height of 803 mm for good accessibility, while its 175 mm ground clearance makes it ideal for riding on Indian road conditions.
