That’s $5,900 cheaper than the dual-motor all-wheel-drive model, and the good news doesn’t stop there, as the entry-level model has an EPA range of up to 350 miles (563 km/h). That’s 35 miles (56 kilometers) more than similar models.

There are some obvious trade-offs, however, as the crossover has a rear-mounted electric motor that produces 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) and 361 lb-ft (489 Nm) of torque. This results in a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 7.5 seconds. When it’s time to recharge the 111 kWh battery pack, a 250 kW DC fast charger can charge it to 10-80% in just 30 minutes.

The Polestar 3 remote single motor comes with LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers and soundproof windows. They also come with a panoramic glass roof, a power tailgate and 20-inch wheels.
Inside, the driver will find a 9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment system. Other highlights include eight-way power heated front seats, three-zone climate control, a wireless smartphone charger and a 10-speaker sound system.
A variety of driver assistance systems are standard, including Pilot Assist, Lane Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Information with Steering Assist. Buyers will also find lane departure warning, road sign information, and rear-end collision warning and mitigation features.
A variety of options are available, including the $5,500 Plus Pack, which adds a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats. The package also includes soft-closing doors, electrically adjustable steering column and folding load floor.
