
In November 2024, Hero Motorcycles sold a total of 460,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 6.36%. Sales were down 31,245 units from last year’s 491,000 units. Among them, motorcycle sales fell by 3.49% year-on-year. For reference, Hero sold a total of 426,000 motorcycles last month, 15,420 units less than the 441,000 units sold in November last year. Despite the decline in overall sales, motorcycles remain Hero Motorcycles’ dominant segment, accounting for 92.62% of the market share. However, the month-on-month decrease was more obvious, reaching 33.02%.

Hero MotoCorp November 2024 sales: More highlights
Similar to motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp’s scooter sales have also fallen sharply. Sales volume was 33,949 units, a decrease of 31.79% from 49,774 units in the same month last year. Sales fell by 21.60% month-on-month, down from 43,304 units in October 2024.
Returning to overall sales (motorcycles and scooters), while Hero’s domestic sales fell by 7.67%, international shipments surged by 35.65% year-on-year. Hero exported 20,028 units last month as compared to 14,764 units shipped in November 2023. Strong export growth highlighted the company’s resilience in overseas markets, offsetting some of the domestic setbacks.

In November 2024, Hero MotoCorp launched its premium motorcycle and electric vehicle lineup at EICMA 2024. The showcase features standout models such as the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250 motorcycles, as well as the VIDA Z electric scooter, highlighting the company’s foray into performance and sustainability.
