
Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch several new bikes in India this year, many of which were unveiled at EICMA 2024. One of the much-anticipated models is the Hero Xtreme 250R, which was recently spotted shooting for a TV commercial in India. The Hero Xtreme 250R has a true streetfighter look, defined by its angular LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. A fleshy fuel tank with bold “Xtreme” 3D badging adds to the muscular aesthetic. Polygonal mirrors and stylish LED turn signals complete the bike’s futuristic, sharp styling. The model pictured features a striking red and white color scheme that complements the sporty vibe of the bike.

Although there is no official confirmation yet, the Xtreme 250R is expected to be launched at the upcoming Bharat Mobile Expo and will be priced around Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hero Xtreme 250R: Key Specs
Powering the Hero Xtreme 250R is a 250cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine equipped with a 4-valve system. The power unit delivers 29.5bhp at 9,250rpm and 25Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm, mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed gearbox. Hero claims that the naked Xtreme 250R can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.25 seconds.
The bike’s trellis frame is paired with a 43mm inverted front fork and a 6-level preload adjustable rear monoshock. There are disc brakes at both ends with switchable ABS mode to handle braking duties. The Xtreme 250R rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with radial tires and a 50-50 weight distribution for enhanced roadholding and precise handling.
For technology enthusiasts, the Xtreme 250R offers modern connectivity features, including a fully digital instrument display with Bluetooth support. When connected to a smartphone, riders can seamlessly access music, route navigation, and potentially manage calls and text messages directly from the bike display.

Other highlights
Hero MotoCorp is expected to showcase multiple models, including the much-anticipated Karizma XMR 250, Xpulse 210, Destini 125 and Xoom 160, at the Bharat Mobility Expo to be held from January 17 to 22.
