
Hyundai has revealed more exciting details about the much-anticipated Creta Electric, which is slated to be launched on January 17, 2025. This electric SUV has a spacious 22-liter trunk and 433-liter luggage compartment, providing ample storage space. The SUV’s wheelbase reaches 2,610 mm, providing a spacious driving space and improving driver and passenger comfort. The seats are made from eco-friendly and sustainable materials, contributing to environmental sustainability, while 8-way power front seats (driver and co-driver) ensure additional comfort. Hyundai Creta Electric: More interior highlights
The Creta EV features a dual-tone interior in Granite Gray and Deep Navy color scheme, complemented by ocean blue ambient lighting around the console, adding a stylish, modern ambience that matches the bold exterior of the SUV. There’s an updated center console, a new three-spoke steering wheel and a host of convenience features. Notably, a new in-car payment feature allows drivers to pay for charging directly through the infotainment system. Other highlights include updated air conditioning vents, a new three-spoke steering wheel, a fold-down tray table, an EV-specific one-pedal driving mode and a gear selector conveniently integrated into the steering column for a smoother driving experience.

The SUV also features dual 10.25-inch screens including a digital driver display and an 8-speaker Bose sound system to enhance the driving experience.
Hyundai Creta Electric: Battery, range and charging
The Hyundai Creta Electric is available in two battery options: a 42kWh battery pack and a more powerful 51.4kWh battery pack. The smaller battery produces 133bhp, while the larger battery increases power output to 169bhp. To enhance performance in cold environments, the Creta Electric comes with a battery heating system ensuring optimal charging efficiency and maintaining range. The larger 51.4kWh battery has a range of 473 kilometers, while the 42kWh version has a range of 390 kilometers. The electric SUV supports an 11kW AC charger, which can fully charge the 51.4kWh battery in just 4 hours. In addition, it also provides DC fast charging function, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes, ensuring fast charging anytime and anywhere.
Hyundai Creta Electric: Safety Kit
In terms of safety, the Creta EV comes with a robust Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite. This includes basic features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring.
