The KTM 390 Adventure will be an updated version of the existing ADV style bike, while the 390 Enduro R will be an off-road focused bike with styling similar to KTM motocross bikes.
KTM’s two models, 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R, are scheduled to be launched in India in January 2025. The former will be an updated version of the existing ADV style bike, while the latter will be an off-road focused bike with styling similar to KTM motocross bikes. The KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R, showcased at the 11th edition of India Bike Week (IBW) held last week, are now available for booking through the company’s official website or authorized dealers across the country. The 2025 390 Adventure is the top choice for those looking for a touring bike with serious off-road capabilities, while the Enduro R is for hardcore off-roaders who want a little more performance.

KTM 390 Adventure: Specs
KTM showcased the S version of the 390 Adventure bike at IBW. Sitting beneath the base of the X, the 390 Adventure S is a true ADV with a design inspired by rally racing. Highlights include a TFT display (with Bluetooth), vertically stacked dual-projector LED headlight clusters, Dakar-style bodywork, tubeless wire-spoke wheels, cruise control and adjustable WP Apex suspension. The bike also has an improved riding position compared to the existing bike and rolls on a combination of 21/17-inch wheels and Apollo Tramplr dual-purpose tires.
KTM 390 Enduro R: Specs
The more off-road-focused Enduro R is lighter than the 390 Adventure S and draws inspiration from off-road vehicles in its design. Notable bits include the beaked fenders, sleek silhouette and off-road-ready block tires. It also has an adjustable suspension setup but comes with a slimmer LCD instrument console with joysticks. Unlike ADVs, enduro-style motorcycles come with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel.

Both bikes use the same engine as the third-generation KTM 390 Duke – a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit that produces 45.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 39Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The ADV is expected to arrive with a larger rear sprocket.
