Mahindra announces prices for BE 6 and XEV 9e top models

Mahindra has announced pricing for the top-end variants (three-pack) of its premium electric SUVs BE 6 and XEV 9e at Rs 26.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The announcement was made after they Unlimited India Technology Day in November 2024 marks Mahindra’s efforts to democratize advanced electric vehicle technology.

Advanced features and performance

The BE 6 and XEV 9e Pack Three variants are based on Mahindra’s INGLO electric skateboard platform and offer a 79 kWh battery with an actual range of over 500 kilometers. Both models are equipped with a 210 kW electric motor and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds. The fast charging feature ensures that the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes using a 175 kW DC charger.

Advanced technologies include MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, which provides seamless connectivity, real-time updates and a futuristic driving experience. Exclusive features include:

wide screen display: 110cm panoramic screen in XEV 9e.

VisionX AR-Skin: Augmented reality heads-up display for intuitive navigation.

Infinity Roof and LightMeUp Lighting: Panoramic views and customizable ambience.

Secure360 and EyeDentity Systems: Enhanced safety with 360-degree camera and driver fatigue detection monitoring.

Mahindra XE 9e

Accessible pricing with the Three for Me program

To make these luxury electric vehicles more accessible, Mahindra has launched the ‘Three for Me’ financing scheme. Customers can choose the BE 6 at a monthly EMI of Rs 39,224 and the XEV 9e at a monthly EMI of Rs 45,450 with a lump sum payment at the end of six years. This pricing is in line with the EMI of the lower Pack One variants, enabling more buyers to experience premium EV technology.

January 7, 2025: Priority registration is open.

January 14, 2025: Phased test drives have begun in major cities.

February 14, 2025: Start pre-ordering the third package version.

March 2025: Deliveries are expected to begin.

Mahindra’s EV vision

Veejay Nakra, president of Mahindra’s automotive division, emphasized that the company is committed to making premium electric vehicles mainstream while addressing range anxiety. With a MIDC certified driving range of 683 km for the BE 6 and a MIDC certified driving range of 656 km for the XEV 9e, these SUVs are tailor-made for the Indian and global markets.
