MG Hector Snowstorm: Exterior, Interior
On the exterior, the Blizzard Edition is finished in pure white with contrasting black finishes on the pillars, roof rails and 18-inch alloy wheels. There is also dark chrome trim around the vehicle. Other eye-catching bits include the smoked taillights and red highlights around the rear bumper, headlight surrounds and fog light housings. Even the brake calipers are finished in red.
Inside, the Snowstorm gets an all-black theme with gunmetal grey accents on the centre console, door handles and steering wheel. There are also Snowstorm badges printed on the front seat headrests. Other than that, the features list is the same as the Sharp Plus model. These include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, connected car technology and a wireless phone charger. Optional accessory packages are also available.
2024 Astor Blackstorm Edition: What’s Changing?
Apart from the new MG Hector Snowstorm, MG has also updated the Astor Blackstorm Edition for 2024. Unlike the previous-generation Blackstorm Edition which was based on a higher-spec variant, the updated Astor Blackstorm is based on the Select variant of the Astor. Prices for the 2024 model range from Rs 13.45 lakh for the petrol MT to Rs 14.46 lakh for the petrol CVT. Prices are ex-showroom.
Although the 2024 Astor Blackstorm still has an all-black exterior, it features red accents on the body for a nice contrast. Black badging is the finishing touch to these changes. The all-black treatment continues on the interior as well. The updated model features an all-black dashboard with red accents around the air-conditioning vents. There is also red stitching on the door trim and steering wheel. Like before, the model features Tuxedo Black seat upholstery, but the front seat headrests have Blackstorm lettering printed on them. Another update is the JBL audio system, which is available as an option.
