


MG Motor India is gearing up to officially launch the luxury M9 electric MPV at the upcoming Bharat Mobile Expo on January 17, 2025. Ahead of the big reveal, MG has released a teaser trailer, challenging fans to uncover the secrets ahead of the big show. Unveiling. The trailer shows fans a math puzzle, inviting them to test their problem-solving abilities. The message encourages fans to “decode” and reveal the name of the upcoming vehicle. The first to figure this out will be excited to discover that MG promises to be a game-changer in the luxury MPV segment.


The answer to all 3 equations is 9, and all equations have a prefix M, making it the answer M9 in all 3 cases. MG M9 is the name of a new electric MPV. This creative campaign is part of MG’s preparations for the Bharat Mobility Expo, where the brand will showcase its latest products, including the M9, which was previously unveiled as the Mifa 9 at the 2023 Auto Expo.
About MG M9 Electric MPV
MG M9 will redefine the luxury MPV experience in India. The MPV, known as Maxus 9/Mifa 9 in the international market, is expected to be launched in March 2025 and is expected to be priced at Rs 65 lakh and will compete with the likes of the recently launched Kia Carnival MPV. Main highlights:


design: With its tall, upright front end, full-width LED light bar, chrome accents and vertical drop-down taillights, the M9 strikes a balance between a boxy MPV silhouette and eye-catching design highlights.


aspect: The M9 is 5.2 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.8 meters high, making it larger than rivals such as the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire.
Seats and comfort: The M9 is expected to be available in 7- and 8-seat layouts and will provide ample interior space. Luxury features include power front and rear seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, fold-down footrest seats, power sliding rear door and dual sunroofs.


Entertainment and Technology: This MPV comes with a rear entertainment screen, premium sound system and advanced connectivity features, making it a technologically sophisticated offering.
Powertrain: The M9 is likely to be powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering 245 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It has a WLTP-certified driving range of 430 kilometers, making it a strong contender in the high-end electric MPV segment.
