Las Vegas, Nevada— Major League Baseball (MLB) announces new strategic “More Than Ballpark” partnerships with select teams and destinations to promote conferences, events, concerts at its ballparks throughout the year and other non-baseball gatherings. The news was announced during a press conference at the 2024 IMEX America event at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The partnership includes destination marketing organizations for eight MLB teams and their cities: Arizona Diamondbacks and Visit Phoenix, Boston Red Sox and Meet Boston, Chicago Cubs and Choose Chicago, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Tourism , Miami Marlins and Greater Miami CVB, San Francisco Giants and San Francisco Tour, Seattle Mariners and Visit Seattle, Washington Nationals and Destination D.C.

From brand new to historic landmarks, eight teams’ iconic and continually evolving venues are being redesigned and complemented by annual infrastructure, hotel-specific upgrades and team-led development initiatives in surrounding communities. The venues and their robust and growing portfolio are now recognized as the ultimate platform for creating the unique, flexible and behind-the-scenes meeting and event destinations planners and attendees demand.

Most ballparks have special event space and on-site catering or other food and beverage options, allowing use of the field, dugout areas, locker rooms, suites and concourses, and meeting rooms. Groups can also arrange ballpark tours, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at exclusive team areas.
