The fourth generation Honda Amaze will be launched on December 4, 2024. Ahead of its official launch, select Honda dealers have started accepting bookings for the compact sedan. In fact, for the first time we have seen clear images of the new Honda Amaze without camouflage, revealing all its design changes. Most of the exterior updates are inspired by the City and Accord sedans sold globally.
At the front, it gets a rectangular grille with chrome inserts, LED projector headlights with integrated daytime running lights, LED fog light units and a revised bumper. Subtle changes have been made to its side profile, including newly designed machined alloy wheels. The 2024 Honda Amaze comes with stylish LED tail lights, rear bumper with horizontally placed reflectors and shark fin antenna.
The interior will also be similar to the City sedan and Elevate mid-size SUV. The new Honda Amaze will come in a dual-tone black and beige interior theme with beige seat upholstery. The compact sedan will also feature an Accord-style dashboard with graphic accents and a standalone touchscreen infotainment system. The car will also come with features such as automatic air conditioning, wireless phone charger, rearview camera, single-pane sunroof and six airbags. Similar to the current generation, the 2024 Honda Amaze will use a 1.2L petrol engine that is said to deliver a power output of 89bhp and 110Nm of torque. Manual (5-speed) and CVT automatic transmissions will continue to be offered.
Considering the addition of ADAS technology, design changes and feature upgrades, the price increase of the new Honda Amaze is expected to be minimal. Its price is expected to start around Rs 7.5 lakh and go up to Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10.20 lakh. Its main rival, the Maruti Dzire, recently underwent a generation refresh and is now priced in the price range of Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
