Royal Enfield Flying Flea powered by Qualcomm technology

Royal Enfield has partnered with Qualcomm Technologies to integrate advanced connectivity features into its Flying Flea range of motorcycles. The motorcycles are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 system-on-chip (SoC) and Snapdragon vehicle-to-cloud platform, making the Flying Flea one of the first two-wheelers to feature connected services technology. Royal Enfield’s technical team developed the Flying Flea model, which features five preset riding modes to suit different riding conditions. The motorcycles feature a circular TFT display powered by a Snapdragon chip and allow the integration of a smartphone as a smart key. This setup allows the rider to easily manage vehicle functions and enhance overall control during the ride.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Highlights

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is equipped with a TFT instrument panel that displays important riding data. Its Bluetooth-enabled screen connects seamlessly with smartphones. Riders can benefit from features such as Lean Sensitive ABS, cruise control, traction control, over-the-air (OTA) updates and keyless ignition.

The bike’s suspension system pairs a rear monoshock with a front beam fork. Disc brakes at both ends (possibly with dual-channel ABS) manage braking. The 19-inch alloy wheels are shod with tubeless Ceat tires, including a 90-section front tire.

Royal Enfield is yet to reveal the mechanical details of its flagship electric motorcycle. Experts predict it will match the performance of the 350cc series, making it ideal for urban commuting. The company plans to launch an electric model in 2026.
