Cincinnati, Ohio——Sports ETA, the official trade association for the sports events and tourism industry, and Rico Solutions, a company that provides sustainable solutions for events, launched an initiative for Sports ETA members at the Sports ETA 4S Summit in Chattanooga Offers a suite of educational products to Tennessee.
The program aims to educate teams across the country on best practices for greener events, and they will deliver educational courses focused on sustainability strategies, which will be delivered through the Sports Tourism Learning Academy.
Richmond Regional Tourism sponsors the program, which will run through 2025. “We know the importance and benefits of implementing green practices, thanks to the net-zero options we offer planners to help offset carbon emissions and make events more sustainable,” said Jerrine Lee, Richmond Regional Tourism Vice President of Sales.
