Maserati GT2 Stradale World Premiere at Monterey Car Week
At the 2024 Monterey Car Week in California, Maserati unveiled the track-only GT2 Stradale. The car was showcased alongside the Maserati track-only MCXtrema and the MC20 Icona, which was recently launched in North America. The Maserati GT2 Stradale, which debuted in July 2023, is essentially a road-going version of the GT2. It features several modifications to reduce weight and increase the power output of the Nettuno V6 engine. The starting price of the new Maserati car is still yet to be announced, but it will undoubtedly sit between the MC20's $242,995 (roughly Rs. 2.04 crore) starting price and the GT2 track version's $522,000 (roughly Rs. 4.37 crore) price tag. Maserati GT2 Stradale to debut at Monterey Car Week in 2024
Maserati has unveiled its latest track-focused marvel, the GT2 Stradale, at the 2024 Monterey Car Week in California. Unveiled alongside the North American-premiering MC20 Icona and the track-only MCXtrema, the GT2 Stradale is the road-going version of the Maserati GT2 that debuted in July 2023. The Stradale features a host of upgrades designed to reduce weight and improve performance while remaining road-legal. Under the bonnet of the GT2 Stradale, the powerful 3.0-litre V6 'Nettuno' engine is retained, now tuned to deliver around 640 hp, nearly 10 hp more than its track-only cousin. The Stradale has a low kerbweight of just 1,365 kg and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The Stradale's design is more understated than the GT2, ditching the racing-style graphics for a sleeker, more aerodynamic shape.
