BYD Seal 06 GT electric hatchback to be launched after Volkswagen ID.3
The BYD Seal 06 GT is the production version of the brand's Ocean M concept. It shares its platform with the Seal sedan and is available in RWD and AWD options. The price in the Chinese market is expected to be between US$21,000 and US$28,000. While the exterior remains true to the concept's lines, the aggressive aerodynamics that once gave it a hatchback vibe have been toned down. The production bumper features sporty air intakes, but they're noticeably softer, and the once-eye-catching rear wing has mysteriously disappeared. The LED graphics on the headlights and taillights, as well as the wing mirrors, have also been toned down, a clear sign that something about the concept's character disappeared on the assembly line.
