Hero MotoCorp has filed a design patent application for a new motorcycle that appears to be a more aggressive version of the Karizma XMR. While the basic design looks almost identical to the conventional model, the bike, which is likely to be called the Karizma XMR 250, seems to have its own personality with notable features like a redesigned fairing and winglets. Unlike the current Karizma XMR, this sport version features an inverted fork configuration. The front fender, rear section and fuel tank are very similar to the Hero 2.5R Xtunt concept bike that was showcased at the 2023 EICMA event last year. On the mechanical front, the upcoming Karizma XMR is expected to use a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine derived from the 2.5R Xtunt concept, but Hero is yet to confirm this.
