New Renault Kwid EV debuts in India
The new Dacia Spring EV is based on the India-produced Renault Kwid, which was extensively updated in February to suit the 2024 model year. The update brings the Spring EV in line with the Romanian automaker's latest design language seen on the new Duster. While the Spring EV is sold under different names in international markets, it will be offered in India as the Renault Kwid EV if we are to believe market reports. We expect Renault to launch its Kwid EV sometime in 2025. Meanwhile, a test mule of the Renault Kwid EV was spotted testing in India. Based on the Dacia Spring EV, the Renault Kwid EV will stand out with a closed grille, redesigned bumpers, large air intakes, and a charging port located behind the badge. Other expected changes include a split headlight design, shark fin antenna, integrated spoiler, rear windshield wiper, vertically stacked reflectors, and steel wheels.
