Toyota RAV4 and Lexus NX wheels may come off
Toyota and Lexus dealers will need to tighten the bolts and possibly repair the damaged parts. The recall only affects 80 2024 Toyota RAV4 vehicles and 2025 Lexus NX vehicles in the United States and Canada. According to Toyota, some bolts may not be tightened properly and may loosen over time. If the front caliper falls off, expect braking problems; if the wheel falls off while driving, expect pure hell. Toyota hasn't released much information, but owners will be contacted about the recall in February 2025. August 19, 2024 — The investigation into Toyota RAV4 battery fires has concluded based on the fix Toyota has implemented for the 12-volt battery problem. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened a federal RAV4 investigation in February 2021 after receiving reports of 11 engine compartment fires in 2013 to 2018 Toyota RAV4 SUVs.
