As a milestone for Vietnam's automobile industry, VinFast has become Vietnam's best-selling automobile brand in October and the first 10 months of 2024. VinFast has sold more than 51,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in total since January, and its rapid growth signals a major shift in consumer preference for electric vehicles in the domestic market. The company reported a record 11,000 electric vehicle deliveries in October alone, a 21% increase from September sales figures. The VF 3 and VF 5 models led the way, with sales of nearly 5,000 and 2,600 units respectively. VinFast has become the best-selling manufacturer in the domestic market, with sales exceeding 51,000 units in the first 10 months of 2024. Among them, sales in October were 11,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 21%. Demand for the VF3 and VF5 was strong, with over 5,000 and 2,600 units sold respectively. With an expanding network of dealers and charging stations, rising bookings and increased production capacity, VinFast aims to maintain its dominant market share and expand its advantage over its competitors. While official details are currently under wraps, VinFast plans to enter the Indian car market soon.
