WEC 2025: JOTA launches racing gold livery
Cadillac and Jota have unveiled the livery for their two factory V-Series.R models. The LMDh car will compete in the 2025 World Endurance Championship (WEC) season. The Cadillac Hertz Team Jota race car will feature the "Hertz Racing Gold" livery, which was previously used on the team's customer Porsche 963 for the 2023-24 season. The livery was launched at Cadillac's European electric vehicle dealership near the Opéra Garnier in Paris. The design is similar to the one Jota used in his victory at Spa last year, underlining their aim to continue their success. MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi and BMW join hands to continue WEC journey
Seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi entered his rookie WEC season in 2024, scoring two LMGT3 class podiums in a BMW GT3. Genesis Le Mans hypercar to debut at WEC 2026;
Hyundai Motor's high-end luxury brand Genesis has launched the LMDh (Le Mans Daytona h) supercar to enter the top level of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Called the GMR-001, it will compete in the WEC against the Alpine A424, Porsche 963, BMW M Hybrid V-8 and Lamborghini SC63 starting in 2026. The supercar will compete in the North American IMSA Sports Car Championship the following year. The Genesis GMR-001 is built to LMDh regulations, using a carbon fiber chassis supplied by Oreca (one of four selected chassis manufacturers). The other three are Ligier, Dallara and Multimatic.
