The electric Mahindra XUV 3XO made a barely disguised appearance at a charging station in Madurai, giving a glimpse of its updated design. While the overall shape is similar to the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the XUV 3XO, the EV stands out with some unique features such as a redesigned front grille, updated bumper, new badging on the tailgate, and front fender-mounted On-board charging device port. In addition, the electric car is equipped with air dams to enhance battery cooling, and the alloy wheels are equipped with aerodynamic inserts to improve efficiency. The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will be positioned lower than the XUV400 in the series. It will compete with the Tata Nexon EV in this segment. It is known that Mahindra is developing an electric version of the XUV 3XO for the Indian market. The car, which debuted in August, has features such as C-shaped daytime running lights and a fender-mounted charging port. Mahindra has started road testing of an electric derivative of the XUV 3XO, which it launched in India in April 2024. The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, which was first revealed, could be launched in late 2024.
