Developed with insights from motocross legend Ricky Carmichael and world enduro champion Iván Cervantes, the Triumph TF 450-RC is powered by a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.
Triumph Motorcycles has launched the TF 450-RC Edition, a 450cc off-road motorcycle developed by racer Ricky Carmichael. This follows the launch of the 250cc model last year and is aimed at strengthening Triumph’s position in the off-road motorcycle market. According to Triumph, the TF 450-RC is designed for both professional racers and recreational riders, offering a powerful balance of power and agility. Triumph says the bike has the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. According to Carmichael, the TF 450-RC will compete with brands like KTM, Honda and Yamaha.
Triumph TF 450-RC Edition: Features
The Triumph TF 450-RC Edition has a strong yet lightweight chassis with an aluminum spine, double-cradle frame and swingarm for excellent handling and stability. It features a premium suspension setup with a 48mm USD fork with 310mm of travel up front and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock with 305mm of travel at the rear, designed for a variety of motocross terrains.

Braking is handled by Brembo calipers and master cylinder, paired with Galfer discs for reliable performance. The bike also comes with DID DirtStar rims and Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires, ensuring great traction and durability for off-road riding.
Triumph TF 450-RC version: Engine
The TF 450-RC features a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with forged aluminum pistons, titanium valves and diamond-like carbon rockers. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox, Dellorto throttle body and Athena engine management system.

Deliveries will begin in February but Triumph will not launch the bike in India due to low demand.
