TVS Motor Company has launched new color options for the entry-level variant of the Radeon commuter bike in India, taking the count to five. With the update, the base version offers an all-black look with contrasting white TVS and Radeon badges. The new all-black base version also features a special bronze engine casing that accentuates the bike’s aesthetics and overall appeal.
TVS Radeon is available in three models – Basic, Digi Drum and Digi Disc – with prices ranging from Rs 59,880 for the base version to Rs 81,394 for the high-end Digi Disc. Both the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The base version is available in metallic black, all-black (new), starlight blue, titanium gray and royal purple, while the Digi Cluster versions (Digi Disc and Digi Drum) are available in black, DT red-black and DT blue-black.

TVS Radeon: Powertrain, Fuel Efficiency
TVS Radeon uses the same 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine as Star City. The engine produces 8.08bhp at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm, and is mated to a four-speed gearbox. Fuel efficiency is claimed to be 69.3 km/l, thanks to the company’s EcoThrust Fuel Injection (ET-Fi) technology. Fuel tank capacity is rated at 10 liters.
TVS Radeon: Hardware
The TVS Radeon features a mono-stand tubular frame with telescopic forks and preload-adjustable shock absorbers for suspension. The base and Digi Drum versions of the commuter bike get 130mm drum brakes at the front and 110mm drum brake at the rear, while the top-end Digi Disc version gets a 240mm disc at the front. The 110mm drum brake at the rear also remains the same.
Both versions are equipped with “synchronized braking technology” – TVS stands for Combined Braking System (CBS). There is also a side stand indicator with a buzzer. The TVS Radeon rides on 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped with tubeless tyres.
TVS Radeon: Others
Other notable features include a reverse LCD screen, a bench seat, chrome-framed headlights (with daytime running lights), full-range automatic start, a rear-seat armrest, and a USB charging port. The bike has a height of 1,080 mm, wheelbase and ground clearance of 1,265 mm and 180 mm respectively. The drum version weighs 113 kg while the disc version weighs 115 kg.
