
Positioned below the single-seater model (priced at Rs 96,869 ex-showroom), the TVS Raider 125 Drum comes with 130 mm drum brakes and Combined Braking System (CBS).
TVS has launched the new drum brake variant of the Raider 125 in India. Priced at Rs 84,469 (ex-showroom Delhi), the drum brake variant is the entry-level model in the Raider 125 series. With the launch of the new variant, the Raider 125 is more affordable than before. Earlier, the base variant was priced at Rs 95,219 ex-showroom. The top-end variant is the SX variant, which is priced at Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
Although the TVS Raider 125 Drum looks the same as the rest of the range, it gets 130mm drum brakes with a combined braking system (CBS). Positioned below the single-seater (priced at Rs 96,869 ex-showroom), the Drum model comes with LED headlights, an LCD instrument cluster, a USB charging port and ride modes. It is available in two colours – Bold Red and Wicked Black – and has the same powertrains as the other models.

TVS Raider 125 Drum Engine: Powertrain
The TVS Raider 125 Drum is powered by a 124.8cc air-cooled engine that produces 11.2bhp at 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. In terms of transmission, the motorcycle uses a five-speed unit. The motorcycle can accelerate from standstill to 60km/h in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 99km/h. The suspension setup consists of a combination of telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock absorber.

In terms of market competition, the rivals of Raider 125 are Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
