10 cars confirmed to launch at Bharat Mobility World Expo

Just a few weeks are left for the Bharat Mobility World Expo 2025, the country’s largest automotive event that will kick off in New Delhi on January 17. Several major manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and JSW MG Motor India have already announced their product line-ups at the auto show, while there are some manufacturers who are yet to announce the same. In this article, we will discuss 10 cars confirmed for launch at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

1. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara

2. Hyundai Creta EV

Hyundai Creta EV is the all-electric version of the mass-market Creta SUV and will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The brand has launched this electric SUV. The styling and silhouette of the Creta EV will be the same as the ICE version with some updates, while the cabin and features are borrowed from the global-spec Kona EV and Alcazar SUV. Equipped with a 51.4kWh battery, the cruising range on a single charge is 473 kilometers.

3. 2025 Tata Tiago facelift

The facelifted Tiago will be unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobile Global Expo and will be launched in the domestic market soon. The updates will be strictly visual with a revised front fascia and a new cabin theme. The 2025 Tata Tiago is not expected to feature any mechanical changes as it will continue to be powered by the same petrol engine with manual and AMT gearbox options. The Tiago was last revamped nearly five years ago in 2020.

4. 2025 Tata Tigor facelift

Tata Motors will launch the 2025 Tigor facelift in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Competition in the compact sedan segment has become more intense with the arrival of the new generation models Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze. So, to stay relevant, the 2025 Tigor is expected to come with several new features, updated styling, and modern technologies. The price is likely to increase by Rs 30,000 over the existing model.

5. Tata Harrier Electric Car

The Tata Harrier EV will make its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January 2025, alongside its main rivals Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti e-Vitara. The electric SUV will offer vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities. It is likely to be equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack with a range of 500 kilometers on a full charge. The Harrier EV will feature two electric motors (one on each axle) and an all-wheel drive system.

6. Mahindra BE 6

The BE 6 electric SUV, built on Mahindra’s all-electric INGLO platform, will be launched in January 2025 at the Bharat Mobile Expo. The car will debut at the “Unlimit India” event in November 2024 with two battery packs: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The former has a cruising range of 556 kilometers, while the latter can last 682 kilometers on a single charge. This electric SUV supports fast charging, charging from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes using a 175 kW fast charger

7. Mahindra XEV 9e

The XEV 9e will also go on sale at the Bharat Mobile Expo 2025 and the company will announce the full variant prices of the SUV. Its dimensions are larger than the BE 6, providing buyers with more trunk and boot space. Equipped with the same battery pack as the BE 6, its range and power output figures are almost identical. Deliveries of the Mahindra XEV 9e are expected to begin in March 2025 in the domestic market.

8. MG Seibost

The Cyberster two-door convertible electric car will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It will be retailed exclusively through the brand’s premium “select” dealers. The India-spec model comes with a 77 kWh battery and can travel up to 580 km on a single charge (CLTC cycle). The MG Cyberster has a maximum power of 510 horsepower and a peak torque of 725 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

9. Skoda Superb

The fourth generation Skoda Superb will make its Indian debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobile Global Expo 2025. It will initially only be powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine, but we may see a diesel engine later on. The new-generation Superb will be retailed as a fully imported model to compete with the Toyota Camry in the Indian market. Expect the new version of the sedan to come with a host of premium comfort and convenience features.

10. Kia Silos

The all-new Kia Syros was unveiled last month and bookings start today across India at a nominal price of Rs 25,000. Pricing will be announced on February 1, with deliveries starting shortly after. It will also be showcased at the Bharat Mobile Global Expo 2025. The SUV is available in 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. Syros features class-first rear seats with reclining and ventilation functions.
