It was originally built in Brazil and has reportedly accumulated 78,791 km (48,958 miles) since new. Power is provided by an air-cooled 1.6-liter four-cylinder boxer engine that is coupled to a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in black and white with a black vinyl interior, this Type 2 Coach is now being sold by the selling dealer with a clear title.
The 14-window body is painted black with white bumpers and a white roof. It has auxiliary headlights, dual mirrors and rear side vents.
A set of 14-inch wheels with Volkswagen hubcaps and 185/70 Jinyu YH11 radial tires keep this Type 2 on the road.
Inside, all three rows of seats are covered in newer black vinyl with stitched panels, allowing for seating for up to 9. The cabin features manual windows, a fire extinguisher, a floor-mounted manual shifter, and a fold-down middle bench.
Vehicle information is displayed on the speedometer at 150 km/h (93 mph), the fuel gauge, and the battery and oil pressure warning lights. The odometer shows 78,791 km (48,958 miles); the most recent mileage figure reported in CARFAX as of June 2024 is 48,960 miles.
At the rear of the vehicle is an air-cooled 1.6-liter four-cylinder boxer engine connected to a four-speed manual transmission that drives the rear wheels. A set of drum brakes brings this Volkswagen van to a stop.
The seller noticed that the steering wheel was a little loose. Also, the radio was removed.
The CARFAX report shows that the vehicle history begins in 2024 and has no accident record.
