The updated 2024 KTM 200 Duke and 125 Duke could be launched soon, and we expect price increases related to additional features
Popular high-performance motorcycle manufacturer KTM will soon launch the updated 2024 200 Duke and 125 Duke in India. The new 200 Duke and 125 Duke are undoubtedly one of the most anticipated products by KTM enthusiasts, and their updated feature list should allow them to compete with their rivals in a better way.
2024 KTM 200 Duke
According to recent news, the 2024 KTM 200 Duke and 125 Duke are about to be launched and the vehicles have started arriving at dealerships. Currently, Duke’s lineup includes 125 Duke, 200 Duke, 250 Duke and 390 Duke. New updates to the 200 Duke and 125 Duke bring improvements and complete the explosive street bike proposition for a new era.
This update only applies to the 200 Duke and 125 Duke products. Both motorcycles are part of the Bajaj-KTM partnership. Bajaj manufactures KTM’s single-cylinder consumer range at its Chakan plant for sale by KTM in India and abroad.
As can be seen from recent spy photos, there are no design changes in this update. The body panels and styling elements remain edgy and typical KTM style, still retaining the old Duke DNA rather than the DNA of the new 390 Duke, adhering to the design spirit of the original Duke.
The major update on the 2024 KTM 200 Duke is that it comes with a new, larger instrument screen. With this new cluster, the 200 Duke will get Bluetooth connectivity and many other features. The new screen will replace the old LCD backlight unit that has been used on KTM bikes for more than a decade.
With the addition of this more advanced instrument cluster, the 2024 KTM 200 Duke also features updated switchgear with dedicated buttons to navigate the various menus. Apart from the addition of a new instrument screen and updated switchgear, the 200 Duke remains mechanically and component-wise unchanged.
125 Duke Update
Apart from the 200 Duke, KTM has also updated its most affordable model, the 125 Duke. The 200 Duke gets only one update, while the 125 Duke gets two updates. Firstly, it gets the same instrument cluster as the new 200 Duke along with updated switchgear. Additionally, the 2024 KTM 125 Duke comes with full LED headlights.
The new LED headlight assemblies look much better than the previous halogens. Fits the aesthetic of Duke’s lineup. The 2024 KTM 125 Duke continues to be powered by the same 124.7cc liquid-cooled engine producing 14.3 bhp and 12 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
KTM returns to silver color for the 2024 200 Duke. Although the color options of the 2024 125 Duke are still unknown. With the refresh of the 200 Duke and 125 Duke, KTM is also likely to increase prices. The exact price hike is not known yet, but we expect the 200 Duke to be priced around Rs 4,000-5,000 and the 125 Duke to be priced slightly higher.
