2024 Ram 2500 Lunar Edition launched in cool Ceramic Gray

  • Ram makes the Power Wagon and Rebel HD more appealing with the Lunar Edition.
  • The truck comes in Ceramic Gray with dark accents and black wheels.
  • The interior features black leather upholstery, Surf Blue stitching, and die-cast metal badges.

Ram has introduced new special editions of its Power Wagon and Rebel Heavy Duty trucks that add unique exterior and interior features inspired by the moon.

The Lunar Edition’s exterior is distinct from the rest of the Ram 2500 lineup as it features a Ceramic Gray exterior, gloss black graphics on the sides, powder-coated bumpers and fenders, and a body-colored Ram logo on the front.

The Power Wagon’s 17-inch wheels and the Rebel HD’s 20-inch wheels are painted black to match the badges on the front fenders and tailgate. Both vehicles ride on 33-inch tires. The Power Wagon should be more suitable for backcountry driving, however, as it comes with a 2-inch lift kit, front/rear locking differentials, and a stabilizer bar disconnect system.

The interior features black leather upholstery with Surf Blue contrast stitching. Twill film trim on the doors and dashboard is similar to the Ram 1500 TRX. Additionally, there’s a die-cast metal badge on the center armrest with brushed metal satin chrome lettering. Ram has also added a wireless charging pad for smartphones, a feature not available on the standard Power Wagon and Rebel HD trims.

There are no changes under the hood, as the original powertrain was already powerful enough to outrun the lunar rover.

The Power Wagon is powered by a 6.4L Hemi V8 with 410 hp (306 kW / 416 PS) and 429 lb-ft (582 Nm) of torque. The Rebel HD is powered by a 6.7L Cummins inline-six turbodiesel with 370 hp (276 kW / 375 PS) and 850 lb-ft (1,152 Nm) of torque. The Hemi can tow up to 10,610 lbs (4,813 kg) and the Cummins can tow up to 14,900 lbs (7,652 kg).

The Ram Lunar Edition is available for order now. Pricing starts at $75,205 for the Power Wagon and $85,490 for the Rebel HD (including $1,995 destination). Deliveries are expected to begin in October 2024.
