TVS Motor, the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, is updating its product portfolio. The company recently launched new color options for the 2024 Ntorq 125. The next in line is the new 2024 TVS Jupiter 110, which is scheduled to be launched on August 22.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 – What to Expect?

Even in its current form, the TVS Jupiter is preferred for its elegant styling. The overall look and feel is very simple, which makes the scooter suitable for daily commuting. A similar approach is expected for the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110. However, there will be some updates to the front, sides, and rear. For example, the front fascia will be updated with new lighting elements.

The teaser shows a horizontally placed daytime running lamp that covers almost the entire width of the front apron. This styling approach seems similar to that of the TVS iQube. It seems that the goal is to achieve a balance of traditional and modern design aesthetics. The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 will retain its classic design themes while getting some new features that can attract a new generation of users.

The new daytime running lights are flanked by the turn indicators. This new styling looks more attractive and enhances the scooter’s road appeal. Changes are also expected to be seen on the sides and the tail. There could be new graphics and some tweaks to the body paneling. The new TVS Jupiter 110 could also be launched with some new colour options.

New TVS Jupiter 110 – Updated equipment list

There is a possibility that LED lights will become standard on more variants of the TVS Jupiter 110. The current list of variants includes the base variant, SMW, ZX, Jupiter Classic, ZX Disc SmartXonnect and ZX Drum SmartXonnect. Other possibilities include a new digital display with Bluetooth connectivity. The top variant is likely to get turn-by-turn navigation.

The 2024 Jupiter 110 could be equipped with an external fuel tank cap and a mobile phone charger. Some features could also be borrowed from the TVS Jupiter 125. For example, a larger trunk space like the Jupiter 125 could be provided. The increased storage space would enhance the scooter’s practicality. The larger trunk size would be enough to accommodate two helmets. On the Jupiter 125, a larger trunk space could be achieved by moving the fuel tank to the floor.

New TVS Jupiter 110 – Engine, Specifications

The engine options for the new Jupiter 110 remain the same as the current model. The 109.7cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, CVTi, fuel-injected unit produces 7.88 PS and 8.80 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. Braking setup on the top-spec model includes a 220 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The TVS Jupiter 110 rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends, shod in 90/90 tubeless tyres.

After the update, the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 will be priced slightly higher. The base model is likely to start at around Rs 77,000. The new Jupiter 110 will continue to compete with the best-selling Honda Activa.
