TVS Jupiter has been one of the best-selling two-wheelers in India and a major revenue generator for the brand over the past decade. Both the 110cc and 125cc models are available in the Indian market. Interestingly, TVS will launch a revised version of the 110cc model this week. The new Jupiter is expected to be a significant improvement over the existing model. TVS recently shared a teaser image of the upcoming model on its social media, giving a glimpse of the exciting updates that the popular scooter will bring to the market. Moreover, the teaser also revealed the official launch date of the 2024 Jupiter 110 – August 22.

2024 TVS Jupiter: Exterior
The new full-length LED light bar on the upcoming 2024 model Jupiter doubles up as the LED indicators, as shown in the teaser. While there aren’t many details in the teaser, we expect to see new LED headlamps, revised taillamps and rear, updated switchgear, a redesigned front apron, a display console, new alloy wheels, a revised seating layout, new color options, and graphics on the scooter. All in all, the new Jupiter is likely to benefit from a more upscale and modern look to effectively compete with petrol-powered and electric scooters.
2024 TVS Jupiter: Mechanical specifications
On the mechanical front, the motorcycle maker is likely to retain the engine configuration from the previous generation model. The 110cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with Ecothrust Fuel Injection (ET-Fi) technology is expected to power the new model, which produces 7.4bhp of maximum power and 8.4Nm of peak torque. A CVT gearbox will transfer the power to the rear wheel.
2024 TVS Jupiter: Features and hardware
Features-wise, TVS is expected to offer a fully digital instrument cluster in the top-spec variant, which is likely to benefit from Bluetooth connectivity and more connectivity options through the TVS SmartXonnect app. Other features include a trunk light, hazard light switch, USB charging port, electric starter generator, automatic engine start/stop and turn-by-turn navigation. A floor-mounted fuel tank similar to the Jupiter 125 is another useful improvement expected in the new-gen model. This modification is likely to make the under-seat storage compartment more spacious – perhaps enough to accommodate two helmets – making it a smart choice for city commuters.
In terms of hardware, the new TVS Jupiter 110 is likely to ride on a chassis-type chassis supported by a rear monoshock and telescopic front forks. Drum brakes should be provided at both ends with an optional front disc brake. The scooter is expected to ride on 12-inch wheels wrapped with 90/90 tyres.
