BMW Australia Pricing and standard specs confirmed for fourth generation X3 A mid-size SUV that will be launched locally in early 2025.
Only two petrol-powered BMW X3 models will be available at launch – 20 drives and M50xDrive – Both come with a 48V mild hybrid system and all-wheel drive.
Updated, April 11, 2024 – Following the announcement of petrol model pricing in July, BMW Australia has now confirmed that the plug-in hybrid 30e xDrive will be launched in the first quarter of 2025. We’ve updated this article and brought it forward.
Pricing for the 2025 BMW X3 Series starts at $84,500 before on-road for 20 drivesa $2,800 increase over the outgoing sDrive20i.

Compared to the outgoing model, the new BMW X3 has longer and wider bumpers and a shorter distance to the roof. All Australian-spec models also come with standard adaptive suspension.
Other standard features on all Australian X3s include adaptive LED headlights and Iconic Glow illuminated kidney grille.
The X3’s interior has been completely revamped and now features a curved display that houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system running BMW’s Android 9-based operating system.
X3 M50 xDrive
The Australian version of the fourth-generation BMW X3 will be produced at the BMW Group’s Spartanburg plant in the United States.
The BMW Group’s Rosslyn plant in South Africa plans to increase production starting in 2025.
While markets such as Europe continue to offer diesel powertrains, BMW Australia has yet to confirm any petrol pumps for the local X3 range.

Pricing for the service has not yet been determined.

There are also optional alloy wheels, interior trim and upholstery. A new knitted texture on the dash is available as an option for $1200, while merino leather upholstery is available for $4000.

A new exterior paint color option for the fourth-generation X3 range is Dune Grey.

Optional Merino leather interior is available in Amber and Atlas Gray or Black and Atlas Gray.
