Honda launches updated 2025 Activa 125 with advanced features, new design and improved specifications
Activa is India’s best-selling scooter and continues to set the benchmark in the two-wheeler market. Known for its reliability and performance, the scooter is available in two engine options – 110cc and 125cc. Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has now launched the updated 125cc Activa, making it compliant with the latest OBD2B norms while adding advanced features and design upgrades. Prices start from Rs. 94,422 (ex-showroom Delhi), 2025 Activa 125 promises to meet the evolving needs of the modern rider.
Key Highlights of the New Activa 125
The 2025 Activa 125 is powered by a 124cc four-stroke SI engine that delivers 6.11 kW of power at 6250 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The engine is now OBD2B compliant, complying with stricter emissions standards and Honda’s sustainable transportation goals. The scooter also features an idle stop system that automatically shuts down the engine during long stops, thereby improving fuel efficiency.
Keeping up with the technology trends, the Activa 125 now comes with a 4.2-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. This gives passengers access to features such as route guidance, calling and message alerts. For added convenience, a USB Type-C charging port is also integrated, making it easier for riders to charge devices on the go.
Size and design
Activa 125 maintains its iconic silhouette but gets subtle design updates including contrasting brown seats and interior panels for a premium touch. The length, width and height of the new car are 1850mm, 707mm, and 1170mm respectively, the wheelbase is 1260mm, and the ground clearance is 162mm. The seat length of 712mm ensures a comfortable ride, while the curb weight varies between 109kg and 110kg depending on the model. The fuel tank capacity is 5.3L, so long-distance riding does not require frequent refueling.
The 2025 Activa 125 comes with tubeless tires in sizes 90/90-12 54J (front) and 90/100-10 53J (rear). Braking is handled by a 190mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear, ensuring safety and control in a variety of riding conditions. It comes in two variants: DLX: Rs. 94,422 and H-Smart: Rs. 97,146.

Customers can choose from six vibrant colors: Pearl Fire Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Dark Grey, Pearl Siren Blue, Rebel Red Metallic and Pearl Precious White. The new Activa 125 is now available at Honda dealerships across India.
