2025 Honda CB650R, CBR650R launched in India; prices start

Honda India has launched its latest CB650R and CBR650R motorcycles, which combine style, performance and advanced design. The CB650R embodies the brand’s Neo Sports Cafe concept, which features a minimalist design with a round full-LED headlight, sculpted fuel tank and exposed frame for a rugged yet sophisticated look. This model is available in two color options: Candy Ball Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The CBR650R stands out with its aggressive styling, displaying sharp aerodynamic lines and a forward stance that exudes speed. A complete LED lighting system, including unique dual-eye headlights, enhances safety and exudes a modern look. This sporty middleweight motorcycle is available in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic paints.

2025 Honda CB650R, CBR650R: Price

The Honda CB650R is priced at Rs 9.20 lakh and the CBR650R is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh. Both prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. Enthusiasts can book these premium bikes at BigWing dealerships across the country or online through the Honda BigWing India website. Deliveries of both models are scheduled to begin next month.

2025 Honda CB650R, CBR650R: Engine, Hardware and Features

The motorcycle is powered by a 649cc inline four-cylinder engine that delivers maximum power of 94bhp at 12,000rpm and peak torque of 63Nm at 9,500rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slip-assist clutch that delivers smooth and responsive shifts.

The bikes feature a steel diamond frame supported by a Showa SFF USD fork at the front and a 10-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. They feature radially mounted dual 310mm front discs, a 240mm single rear disc and dual-channel ABS for braking. The 2025 model comes with 17-inch wheels.

In terms of features, the CB650R and CBR650R are equipped with cutting-edge features, including a 5-inch color TFT display for enhanced information and seamless Honda RoadSync app compatibility. Passengers can enjoy Bluetooth connectivity, route navigation and receive phone/text alerts.

The Honda CB650R competes with the Triumph Trident 660 and Kawasaki Z900, while the CBR650R competes with the Suzuki GSX-8R and Triumph Daytona 660.
