Honda is a world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer with a very large portfolio and for viable reasons many of the products in India are not sold in India. The CBR250RR is a motorcycle like this that was patented in India in early 2023. Now, the motorcycle has been updated to the MY25 version and has a subtle update. Let’s take a look.
2025 Honda CBR250RR debuts
The Indian motorcycle market is used to obtain the Honda CBR250R, which is a single-cylinder quarter-liter motorcycle. However, Honda also offers a harder quarter-liter product in the form of the CBR250RR. The More R name directly means more sportiness, more performance and more Honda naming.

The CBR250RR is patented in India, but it looks like it’s more like an IP protection exercise than a launch intention. However, the CBR250RR is a popular motorcycle among motorcycle enthusiasts around the world. In 2025, Honda cleverly updated its quarter-liter pocket rocket with new colors.
Speaking of colors, Honda offers a total of three – Grand Prize Red, Pearl Glare White and Matte Stand Silver. Where pricing involves, the price of matte cargo silver is JPY 902,000 (about Rs 532 crore), while the price of the color of Grand Prix red and pearl glare white is JPY 940,500 (about Rs 55.5 lakh).

What else is new?
The keen fairing designed continues to be aerodynamic, inspired by the company’s flagship CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. LED headlights, LED DRL, aerodynamic windshield, mount-mounted ORVM, LED scintillator, chisel tank, low-set clip handlebars, advanced switching equipment, split seats, digital instrument group are significant elements.
Components include a gold-shaded USD telescope SFRA SFF-BP fork, a single vibrating setup at the rear, a single feather disc at both ends, with dual-channel ABS, 17-inch alloy wheels, 110-segment front wheels and 140-segment rear tires, dual-style barrels, dual-barrel exhaust and a 14.5l fuel tank. All of this is mounted on an effective chassis with a curb weight of 168 kg.

Powering the motorcycle is a 249cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/Cyl engine capable of developing a peak power of 42 ps at 13,500 rpm and a peak torque of 25 nm at 10,750 rpm at 10,750 rpm, paired with a slipper clutch, 6-speed speed, 6-speed transmission and fast mover. We hope Honda will launch this motorcycle in India. If so, it will take motorcycles with similar performance, such as the Aprilia Rs 457 and the Yamaha R3.
