Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has launched the new 2025 Honda Dio, which has been updated to meet OBD2B compliance standards. Equipped with cutting-edge features, advanced technology and fresh color options, the new Dio is designed to meet the dynamic needs of today’s youth. Prices start at Rs. 74,930 (ex-showroom, Delhi), Dio continues its legacy of being one of the most popular scooters in India.
Engine and performance
The heart of the 2025 Honda Dio is the 109.51cc single-cylinder PGM-FI engine. The power unit delivers 5.85 kW of power at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 9.03 Nm at 5250 rpm. It comes with an idle stop system designed to improve fuel efficiency, making it a green choice for urban commuting. The engine comes with a self-starting system ensuring rider convenience.
The 2025 Dio is packed with modern features, including:
– The new 4.2-inch TFT digital display provides basic information such as mileage indicator, trip meter, environmental indicator and remaining power.
