  • The 2025 Hyundai Sonata will bring the entry-level SE trim back into the lineup.
  • Pricing starts at $26,650, which is $850 less than last year’s model.

What’s rarer than a midsize family sedan? In an era of rampant inflation, prices are cut.

The 2025 Hyundai Sonata will be available as an entry-level SE model. This drops the base price to $26,650, $850 cheaper than last year’s model.

Although the Sonata SE is at the bottom of the range, it comes with LED lighting, an acoustic windshield and a hands-free smart trunk. It also has 16-inch alloy wheels and cheap side mirrors without heating.

Inside, costs are further reduced and drivers can find manual climate controls and a polyurethane steering wheel. Other highlights include cloth seats, a six-speaker audio system, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a proximity key with push-button ignition.

Despite being an entry-level model, buyers will find it equipped with a host of driver assistance systems, including smart cruise control with stop-and-go, high-beam assist, blind-spot collision warning with rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning, rear occupant alert, lane keep assist, and forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection.

Aside from a new SE trim, not much has changed for 2025. That being said, the Sonata N Line gains second-row air vents, and the SEL convenience package has been spun off into its own trim.

It’s worth noting that existing models have seen price increases, with the SEL starting at $27,750, $250 more than last year’s model. The Sonata N Line is up $300, while the Sonata Hybrid is up $200.
