2025 Kia Carens Facelift may start selling by the end of this year, with internal and external updates
The modified Kia Carrence is being tested in India and South Korea, where many original developments have occurred. Testing of the upcoming model is in full swing, and recently, one of its prototypes has been captured behind a footage on a Korean highway.
As seen in one of the spy shots, the new Kia Carrence will feature large headlights placed vertically, which will show a more confident and confident character. They will include more technically-looking daytime running lights, which contain Kia’s new star signature inspired by lines used to draw the constellations. The radiator grille, lower air intake grille, fog lights and bumpers will also bring a new look in the front.
On the side, the refreshed Kia Carrence features new alloy wheels. Unlike the current model, the entire model will include purely electric variants, and the aerodynamic design of the alloy wheel seen on this prototype indicates that it is a zero-emission derivative. But while Kia only used this “geometric” themed wheel on electric cars earlier, it now applies this look even on ice models, and India’s Syros is the latest example.

The newer Kia Carens’ rear end combines new taillights, reminiscent of the Kia EV5, a C-segment electric SUV located between the EV3 and EV6. A thin strip extending over the width of the tailgate is likely to connect to a new taillight.
The new Kia Carens may be getting some upgrades inside. Like the Kia Syros, it should have a trinity panoramic display that includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 5-inch climate-controlled touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. There may also be some key features missing in the current model, such as a panoramic sunroof, power driver seats, a 360-degree camera system and advanced driver assistance system.

Kia will likely offer new Carens for the current model with the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol and 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine. As for the first Carens EV ever, Kia can use a 51.4 kWh NMC battery pack and a 126 kW (169 hp) permanent magnet synchronous motor, at least in the top configuration. We want it to have a range of between 425 and 450 kilometers. The launch pace is not yet known, but Kia is expected to make the ice and electric variants of New Carens available this year.
