How much does Kia Oil cost?
The variant tested here is Spec Sport, which was previously wrong. But with the new, more powerful three-cylinder turbo engine, it can actually rely on the nickname better.

What is Kia is like inside?
Kia hasn’t been working on its entire “glitter” internally, especially with more amazing factors for new car buyers than some of its competitors.
There are still some good sign improvements for buyers, including the digital dashboard instead of the small screens on either side of the traditional dial.
The center section of the new display includes a multi-INFO display with a travel computer screen, compass, temperature readings, and more. When you change the driver mode (yes, there are three modes for all levels – Normal, Motion, and ECO), the color changes around the cluster.
Another screen is an 8.0-inch touchscreen unit with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, both of which require you to plug in. There is also no wireless phone charger, so this is not as modern as many of the competitors in this class.
But in some ways the old-fashioned screen is great because it’s easy to learn, the menu is simple, and there are buttons under it and dial to the side for simple changes.
Satellite navigation for the specs motion mid-move is standard, but I mainly keep in touch with Carplay and have no issues (usually the same mirror with USB connected).
The brilliance of the simple controls continues under the touch screen, with dialing for single-zone climate-controlled temperature and fan speed, as well as buttons for air direction, air circulation, and front and rear defogers.
Who would have thought these things deserve praise? But those soft, brightly colored small SUVs usually have minimal physical buttons and knobs, which makes them interact with them.
A illuminated wash basin mirror (you need to turn the switch to light things up though), and it gets a manual day/night mirror instead of an automatically lowered mirror. However, there is a standard sunglasses holder.
The storage on the front is nice, with a shelf above the USB-A port that is a bit narrow and cannot be installed with a large smartphone. There is also a pair of cup holders between the seats, a covered center console area and a nice front door pocket for the bottle.
The thing you can’t escape from this car is a cheap feeling – the handrails on the door are hard plastic and the elbows don’t feel good either!
In the back, this is the same story. There is a bottle holder on the door card, but it also has a hard plastic finish. There are no flipped handrails, either, so there are no cup holders. Other amenities include a USB-A port, a map pocket, gripping handles and lights from the ceiling.
The lack of vents on the back means parents may not find this condition ideal for small children on the back, but there are same leaf dots on the window seat and three tops on the child seat.
A six-foot adult has room behind his driving position, but is a bit narrow in legroom. The head room, toe room and shoulder space can all fit the size of the car.
The start-up space is nice, with 332 liters of cargo capacity, the rear seats are raised, and when you fold these rear seats, there is a 1132L available.
The sides of the boot area have shopping bag hooks and a convenient storage box, and despite the locator for adjustable hard boot flooring, the actual starter floor is fragile, where there are no slots to lift the floor.
Below the boot is a relaxing spare wheel, which is a plus.

how Kia stonic drive?
The previous engine of S and sport grades is a fool.
Well, that can be demanding – it’s almost inadequate in terms of power, and the automatic transmission always feels like snatching your power by trying to raise it early to save fuel.
This new engine? It’s perfect for GT lines that look more sporty in the last range and is definitely a wider device for the app.
With relatively light torque, the newer Stonic never runs out of blow-out like the puff like the previous model, and the engine is a little inspiring.
It provides plenty of enthusiasm and Zippiness in slower driving situations around town, and it also handles highway hauls easily and responds to sudden throttle inputs quickly.
The seven-speed dual clutch isn’t perfect, but it does really do well once you get out of the stagnation.
In the case of stop-start, the response can be a bit sluggish, especially when the engine start system is activated. With DCT and turbo lag, the appearance of a stand start can be made less perfect.
With speed, the DCT is good, providing a smart and lively transition, and in my tests I found it feels more pleasant than the GT line I recalled before.
Sitting on 17-inch wheels with relatively low profile rubber, the ride is a bit sturdy, but it won’t get clumsy or crash unless you hit the very sharp edges.
The weighting is good in urban driving and quick response, but some cheap Chinese alternatives also do not provide the level of guarantee and control when driving on rural roads or on highway speeds.
On the rougher road surfaces, there are some rackets to compete, but not bad around town.
Thankfully, unlike a large number of competitors, there are no large amounts of frustrating security technologies that need to be disabled for you to be peaceful. There is a lane save button that is easy to disable if you don’t like it.
However, the lack of adaptive cruise control can be annoying, which makes it more of a distance from commuter “I really have to think so much at 7am?” mission.

Based on tests from the now-extinct RIO, Kia Stonic received the highest five-star ANCAP safety rating in 2017. The rating is now expiring, meaning the car is no longer available now.
Standard safety equipment includes:

- Cars, pedestrians and cyclists testing
- Lane Assistant
- Lane after assist
- Lead car departure alarm

Kia offers a standard seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty. The brand also includes up to eight years of roadside assistance to serve you within the brand’s network of dealers.
Repair is required every 12 months or 10,000 kilometers, whichever arrives first.

There is no doubt that the turbo engine has a big impact on the drive experience of the lower spec Stonic models, but make sure you get it thoroughly tested and has a lot of stop-start situations to see how you can find the engine and transmission at city speeds.
Otherwise, it’s a very compelling option compared to a budget-centric alternative, especially if you don’t have to interact with the screen to try to do anything in the cabin.
