
Updated 2025 Kia Stonic Series now detailed, Australian line-up all turbo
The Kia Stonic range starts at $25,460 (before on-road costs) for the entry-level S model, which comes standard with a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Previously, the MY24 Stonic S non-turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine was priced at $22,290 (excluding on-road costs) with the six-speed manual, while the optional six-speed automatic was priced at $23,790, a base price increase of $1,670 to $3,170.

MY24 Stonic GT-Line
The range also comes with more kit including blind spot collision avoidance assist, front parking sensors, electric folding mirrors and alloy wheels which are now standard across the range.
Major upgrades to the mid-spec Sport (aside from the new drivetrain and carryover equipment from the Stonic S) include rear privacy glass, climate control and rain-sensing wipers.
The GT-Line features all of the above upgrades, plus LED taillights and three-stage heated front seats.

Service and Warranty
The 2025 Kia Stonic comes with the brand’s standard seven-year, unlimited-mileage warranty.
Maintenance is required every 12 months or 10,000 km (whichever comes first).
It is understood that Stonic’s 2024 capped-price service costs will continue until 2025.

Safety
In 2017, the Kia Stonic received a five-star safety rating from ANCAP based on tests of the now-discontinued Rio model.
However, its safety rating is due to expire in 2025. It is unclear whether it will be retested as a result of the recent upgrade.

There are eight exterior colours to choose from, with all colours other than the standard Pure White costing an extra $520. Most colours are carried over from the MY24 range.
