KTM has updated the 1390 Super Adventure S EVO with modern features, new design and improved mechanicals. The bike comes in two color schemes: white on black and orange on black. It features a sharp-looking fairing, boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a highly transparent hood on top of the projector LED lights. Other standout highlights include an improved seat design, storage compartments and a radar system (located under the headlight) to facilitate the machine’s improved rider assistance. While the launch of the bike in India is still uncertain, global shipments are expected to start early next year. The first batch of products will be shipped to markets such as North America and Europe. Internationally, the bike competes against a variety of models, including the BMW R 1300 GS, Ducati Multistrada V4 and Triumph Tiger 1200.

2025 KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO: Engine
The biggest improvements were made to the mechanical part, with the engine displacement increasing from 1,300cc to 1,350cc. The 1350cc 75-degree V-twin engine produces 170.63bhp at 9,500rpm and 145Nm at 8,000rpm. It’s equipped with KTM’s latest cam shift technology, which automatically modifies lift and valve timing according to the riding environment. The intake cam operates at lower speeds for optimal city driving and moves sideways at higher rpm for optimal performance.
Another noteworthy feature of this segment is the addition of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), making the 1390 Super Adventure S EVO the first KTM to have this feature. The setup gives riders the option of a traditional manual shifting system using a foot lever or paddles located on the lever, or a full twist-and-go automatic transmission.
2025 KTM 1390 Super Adventure S EVO: Chassis and Ergonomics
The bike uses the same frame as the previous version, but has now been modified and improved for increased stiffness. The footpegs are 8mm lower and 10mm wider, improving rider comfort and widening the knee angle.
The 1390 Super Adventure S EVO features the latest version of WP’s semi-active technology suspension, which incorporates modern PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) sensors and a revolutionary through-bar fork structure (comprising both open and closed cassette suspension type functionality). This results in a more consistent damping response and improved accuracy at higher frequencies.
KTM also offers the Suspension Pro package, which offers suspension settings such as Pro, Anti-Dive, Auto and Off-road damping modes in addition to the Street, Sport, Comfort and Rain modes of the older bike.
