KTM has officially announced via social media that the much-anticipated new 390 Adventure will be launched in India on January 30, 2025. As the Indian motorcycle market continues to grow and the demand for premium bikes continues to evolve, KTM aims to strengthen its position with this latest product, i.e. targeting enthusiasts looking for performance, adventure and style.
Expanding KTM’s 390 Lineup
This new 390 Adventure is part of KTM’s expanded 390 line-up, which also includes the 390 R. Enduro R. which made its Indian debut recently at the India Bike Week (IBW) in Goa, where KTM introduced it to an enthusiastic audience These models are presented. The 390 Adventure S is the successor to the popular 390 Adventure and features significant updates, while the 390 Enduro R marks the introduction of KTM’s dedicated off-road lineup in India.
Ahead of their official launch, select KTM dealerships in India have started accepting unofficial bookings for the new 390 Adventure S and 390 EnduroR. Amid the excitement among buyers, eager to be among the first to own these bikes are already reserving their units. Booking numbers vary from dealer to dealer, reflecting the high expectations for these motorcycles.
Key features of the new 390 adventure
The new KTM 390 Adventure S gets a major generational update including an all-new 399cc liquid-cooled engine producing 45bhp and 40nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It features 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire wheels, a tall windshield, semi-standard for enhanced wind performance, and a TFT instrument panel for seamless navigation and information display. Designed for versatile adventure travel, the S variant offers a balance of performance and practicality.
The 390 Adventure S also has non-adjustable suspension, making it ideal for highway touring and light off-road conditions. KTM has positioned this model below the fully loaded R variant to ensure that it caters to a diverse audience of adventure enthusiasts.
KTM 390 Enduro R: A true off-road bike
For off-road enthusiasts, the 390 Enduro R is a dedicated machine that promises outstanding performance on rough terrain. It has a fully adjustable suspension with more travel, 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire wheels, and a smaller instrument screen. This hardcore trail bike is designed for challenging trails, making it a unique offering in KTM’s lineup.
