2025 KTM 390 Adventure debuts in camo

The near-production version of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure has been shown overseas ahead of its debut at the much-anticipated EICMA in Milan on November 5. The camouflage-painted bike was on display at the 2024 KTM Adventure Rally in South Dakota, USA. The brand’s R&D team showed off two prototypes of the upcoming model to give a glimpse of its design. A popular adventure touring motorcycle, the 390 Adventure continues to attract riders with its versatile performance and reliability. These latest developments may indicate that KTM intends to further refine its design and features to provide a more dynamic riding experience. Enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the official launch to see how these enhancements translate into real-world performance.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure: What to Expect?

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure range will include enduro and superbike variants, as well as a standard dual-purpose off-road model. The Austrian manufacturer has been testing the next-generation 390 Adventure in a minimally disguised race car. Now more closely integrated with the design of its bigger sibling, the bike features a new LED headlight and dual projector setup for a more commanding appearance. It also has a tall clear windshield.

Other updates include new LED daytime running light signatures, rally-style single seats and beak-style front fenders. The larger fuel tank is highlighted by a body extension, and its appearance is enhanced by sleek, minimalist panels. The compact rear shows off new LED taillights, slender turn indicators and a split armrest. The metal belly pan, lower exhaust pipe, handguards, prominent front beak and exposed black trellis further emphasize the bike’s adventurous character.

Talking about the mechanicals, the new KTM 390 Adventure will be powered by a 399cc DOHC, four-valve, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that was first introduced on the 390 Duke. The engine can output a maximum power of 44.25bhp and a peak torque of 39Nm. A six-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch will handle transmission duties.

In terms of hardware, the bike comes with an inverted (USD) front fork and a rear monoshock with a single-sided swingarm. Braking includes front disc brakes with axial calipers and rear disc brakes, both backed by dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle comes with wire-spoke wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear.

In terms of functions, the model is expected to have electronic auxiliary equipment, such as switchable rear ABS, multiple riding modes, fully digital color TFT instrument console, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, drive-by-wire throttle, turn-by-turn navigation, and two-way quick change switch and USB charging port.
